Toward a better Senior life

Now the thing is too many people, especially those with sedentary lifestyles, can’t imagine themselves in old age. And don’t know or understand that preparation for mid – life and older should be considered in the mid thirties.
Having a balanced life style early on is of vital importance in later life and if you wish to age well and face challenges that incapable ageing can bring , including the multitude of medical conditions that are almost inescapable for the fast majority.
This means that a balanced life style early on in life is essential. Your diet , your exercise , even more so for shift workers who often have disturbed sleep this can then affect mental health . Nothing should be excessive, especially alcohol and food, many Australians who are obese don’t consider themselves so. After the age of 28 in humans our bodies metabolism slows and it becomes harde to burn up fats and other negative intakes such as sugar , this will come to haunt you later in life.
Being healthy the right weight and strong to start with , will help you enjoy your retirement and later life. Not just physically but mentally as well.
Best wishes good health

Coming down to earth literally
Not long ago I was watching a PGA championship golf on TV
The crowd was jumping up and down yelling “In the hole” every time there was a put on the green.
I couldn’t help thinking not one person I could see would be alive in 100 years time . Kind of a sobering thought to bring me down to earth.
A bit of humility and understanding of what really matters like family is not a bad thing.
